New construction of a 150,000 square foot, 2-level mega-supermarket facility in suburban Pittsburgh.  Nearly twice as large as most supermarkets in the region, the building design required the careful integration of numerous structural systems, including bowstring roof trusses and composite concrete/joist floor systems, in combination with the more conventional steel beam and joist systems typically used for large, open buildings of this type.  The project was successfully completed using fast-track construction.
